A Leopard

My brother, who lives in Sydney, is turning into a leopard. He has developed large spots all over his body. Of course, as certain other members of my family would have me believe (I'm looking in YOUR direction, Mum), he is not turning into a leopard at all, he has just got an allergy to penicillin.
They are wrong, of course. In due course, I am sure the transition from man to cat will be complete. I can only hope that a) His wife will accept this metamorphosis and b) That Taronga Zoo has a cage spare for him to rent.

My sympathies are with you because this is going to be a difficult journey, and I admire your courage in the face of your mothers denial. You must, however, cast out an unrelenting force of superpower persuasion upon your mother before it gets too bad and your brother ends up looking like this

Because we can't have that now can we?

Apparently the spots have already started to fade away. For a mancat, he doesn't show much tenacity.

That's quite an interesting image. Try doing a google search under the terms "leopard man". They come up with some quite 'interesting' images, too ...

And how many sign in names do you have?

I thought I being all clever for finding a picture of Tom Leppard, but obviously you've both sort of beaten me to it!

But here it is anyway, because I spent 12 seonds googling it, and really: effort should never go to waste!

if you click on the "other" option you can enter whatever names you want and just add your website... I'm off now to type in leopard man to google, wish me luck :-)

Yeah, I figured that part myself. ;)

But where do you get the ideas from!?

where do I get the ideas from? Whatever is floating around in my head at the time... I used anthropomorphic as a search string to find a picture of a leopard, and most other times I am thinking about drinking or politics... so I just make up some silly banal derivative of either of those two

I hate it when one is too tired to sleep. Just woken up at 5 a.m. and unable to go back to sleep. Maybe I should count sheep. Or leopards?

At first I thought he must be missing something in his brain, but then figured he must be a struggling actor. Because if he's not a struggling actor trying to get a buck someone needs to tranquillisers him. In the brain. Forever.

Even if your brother does end up a leopard, don't be too worried. After all, Bob Hawke turned into an arsehole around '89 and it took Hazel fully half a decade to leave. (Ba-boom!)
